12-Ton AC w/ Mobility & Heavy-Duty Cooling Capability
This 12-ton rental AC unit is self-contained and uses a process of evaporation and condensation to cool air. It starts the process by pulling in hot air. The compressor removes the heat and pressurizes the refrigerant to turn the gas into a liquid. The liquid flows through a condenser, letting the heat escape through the AC unit’s casing vents.
The refrigerant passes through a metering device that reduces its pressure and allows it to turn back into a much cooler gas. The ambient air cools as it flows over cold refrigerant lines in the evaporator, after which it is pushed back into the room by the unit’s internal fans.
As the cycle repeats, it gradually cools the surrounding space to create and maintain a comfortable environment.
