Job Summary
This role is responsible for leading field operations, directing and coordinating all activities related to job-site installation, load-in/load-out, and ensuring full cost control throughout the project lifecycle.
In addition, the Project Manager will support the rental sales team by contributing expertise in engineering, site layout and drawings, customer visits, and cost development for project quotations. The primary objective of this position is to deliver high-quality rental solutions—on time, within budget, and aligned with customer expectations.
Success in this role requires the ability to build and maintain strong partnerships across rental sales, coordination teams, management, service departments, and subcontractors. The ideal candidate will also possess strong technical knowledge inpower generation, HVAC systems, and compressed air, enabling them to support both internal teams and customers with equipment specifications and engineering guidance.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
  • Technical Expertise: Five years in power generation, HVAC systems, and compressed air, with the ability to read, interpret, and create engineering drawings, site layouts, and equipment specifications.
  • Field Leadership Experience overseeing job-site operations, including installation, commissioning, load-in/load-out, and subcontractor coordination.
  • Strong Project Management Skills, including scheduling, resource planning, cost control, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proven Ability to Manage Budgets and maintain full ownership of project financial performance from planning through completion.
  • Exceptional Communication and Interpersonal Skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate across sales teams, operations, service departments, and customer stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated Problem-Solving Ability, especially in fast-paced field environments requiring immediate technical or logistical solutions.
  • Customer-Focused Mindset, with experience conducting customer site visits, assessing needs, and supporting the development of accurate project scopes and quotations.
  • Proficiency in Technical Tools, including project documentation software, CAD tools for layouts (preferred), and standard Microsoft Office applications.
  • Commitment to Safety, with a strong understanding of job-site safety practices, equipment handling protocols, and regulatory compliance.
  • Flexibility to Travel to job sites as required, including occasional extended or irregular hours to support project schedules.
Minimum Skills and Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 3–5 years of field experience with HVAC, power generation, and/or pumping systems
  • Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint/CAD knowledge is a plus.
  • Results-oriented with a commitment to quality, willing to take on new challenges, self-motivated, take ownership, goal-oriented.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate others and instill company mission, vision, and values.
  • Understanding of accounting concepts with the ability to manage a budget.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
Physical Requirements
  • Lifting/Carrying 40 lb. Lift/Carry and 50lb pulling.
  • Standing/Sitting Up and down stairs, standing, sitting, and climbing into machines.
  • Dexterity Normal.
  • Repetitive Motions: Frequent movement requiring hands, wrists, and fingers.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet in office settings and moderate to loud in other situations, with both constant and sudden loud noises possible
