New Parts Order Notifications Now Available for Genuine Cat® Parts
At Ohio Cat, we’re always looking for ways to improve your experience—and that includes how we keep you informed about your parts orders. We’re excited to announce a new enhancement is coming to our order communication process: you can now enroll in SMS text message updates for your parts orders!
What’s New?
When you place a parts order with our Cleveland, Columbus, or Perrysburg Ohio Cat Parts locations, you’ll now receive automated email updates throughout the fulfillment process. Text notifications are currently available at our Cleveland location with Columbus and Perrysburg planned for early 2026.
What You’ll Be Notified About:
1. Order Ready for Pickup: Know the moment your parts are ready to be picked up so you can plan your parts running accordingly, saving you valuable time.
2. Order Staged for Delivery: Get a heads up when your order has been pulled and is ready to be delivered to a drop box near you.
3. Order Picked Up: Receive confirmation, including the name and signature of the person who has picked up your order from one of our locations so you’re always in the know.
4. Shipping Details: Track your order with tracking information delivered straight to your inbox or phone.
How It Works:
a). When placing an order at participating branches, your parts specialist will ask if you’d like to receive text and(or) email notifications for your order status.
b). Once enrolled, you’ll automatically receive real-time updates via text and(or) e-mail as your order progresses, with the ability to unenroll at any time.
c). When you place a Parts.Cat.com order, you will automatically receive notifications about your order status.

This is just the beginning. Throughout 2026, we’ll be expanding this program to include all Ohio Cat branches, along with additional features to make your parts ordering experience even more seamless.
