On October 5th, 2023, the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland, Ohio officially broke ground on its upcoming 50,000 square-foot expansion project nearly 30 years after its original groundbreaking.
At the forefront of the groundbreaking, was Ohio CAT as an event sponsor and lead donor, showcasing and subsequently supplying equipment that will assist throughout the duration of the near-two-year construction project that will increase the hall’s overall size by nearly 40 percent. This makeover will include a new indoor event and performance space, a brand-new entry experience, spaces to expand the number of students served, additional community gathering areas, and a student archive center for visitors.
Another big piece of news coming out of Thursday was that Ken Taylor, President of Ohio CAT, was nominated and elected to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame’s Board of Trustees! When asked about the opportunity to serve on the Board of Trustees for the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, Ken said, “This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. The Rock Hall is such a special place and it’s had a very successful first 28 years.”
Congrats to Ken and everyone involved with the ceremony.
