JOB SUMMARY:
–Generates revenue growth by utilizing a consultative selling approach in prospective and current Ohio CAT customers.
–Set sales plans, budgets, objectives, strategies, and initiatives to fulfill the growth and revenue goals of the business unit, and ensure the maximum sales volume and maximum direct margin contribution.
–Recruiting, developing, coaching, and retaining a driven sales team to effectively prospect, develop, and close new account sales.
–Provide day-to-day leadership and direction to the sales team in maintaining and expanding customer relationships.
-Develop strong customer relationships directly with key strategic accounts.
-Must be engaged and present for customer visits, demos, events, quoting, and consultations.
-Must be engaged and present for applicable regional industry association meetings and events.
-At times Overnight stays in the territory and longer extended stays out of territory required.
-Must have permanent residence in the area ofresponsibility, which is Western Ohio. Columbus, Toledo, Cincinnati or Dayton area preferred.

-Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal skills, with an ability to inspire trust and confidence in employees at all levels.
-Skilled in the Microsoft suite of business software and other industry-specific programs.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
-High School Diploma.
-Bachelor’s degree in Sales/Marketing preferred, plus 5 years experience in construction sales, industrial sales, commercial sales, or service industry environment sales. Previous experience withheavy construction product sales or rentals is required.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
-Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in an office setting; to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time; to occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist; to lift, carry, push, and/or pull light to moderate amounts of weight; to operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination including use of a computer keyboard; and to verbally communicate to exchange information. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet in the office settings and moderate to loud in other situations, with both constant and sudden loud noises possible.
