What You’ll Do:
At Owens:
Complete the Caterpillar curriculum at Owens Community College.
Maintain a strong GPA and graduate successfully.
Represent Ohio CAT professionally on campus.
In the Shop:
Train under experienced mentors.
Perform real-world diesel repair and maintenance tasks.
Progress to more advanced assignments over time.
What We’re Looking For:
High school diploma or equivalent (required before program start).
Basic diesel knowledge or mechanical aptitude
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to follow safety protocols and use necessary equipment.
Comfortable using computers and diagnostic tools.
Physical Requirements:
Lift/carry up to 40 lbs; pull up to 50 lbs.
Stand, sit, climb stairs, and enter/exit machinery.
Frequent hand/wrist/finger movement.
Work environments range from quiet offices to loud shop environments.
