This position qualifies for our $5,000 signing bonus. The bonus will be paid at $2,500 at the time of hire, and $2,500 at 1 year (with satisfactory review), please ask for details.

JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY:

As an Ohio CAT Technician, you will perform preventative maintenance (PMs) and light repairs on generator and equipment rental fleet and all associated equipment to ensure the highest availability possible and crucial to keeping equipment running. The Technician will efficiently perform check-in and check-out procedures, quality repairs/preventative maintenance for all rental assets stored on location. Assist rental coordinator with shippers, receivers, and inventory control. Join our team today and begin building the world around you!

REQUIREMENTS:

• High School Graduate Required
• Three-Five years of technical experience within the industry preferred
• Knowledge and experience with Caterpillar and non-Caterpillar products such as: generators, chillers, trailers, cables, etc.
• Good understanding of low voltage electrical systems and troubleshooting.
• Solid engine and mechanical background.
• Must be able to handle multiple work assignments
• Excellent communication skills

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Lifting/Carrying 40 lb. Lift/Carry and 50lb+ pulling
• Standing/Sitting Up and downstairs, standing, sitting, and climbing into machines
• Dexterity Normal. Repetitive Motions Frequent movement requiring hands, wrists, and fingers
• The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet in office settings and moderate to loud in other situations, with both constant and sudden loud noises possible.
